Fruit Diet- For those obsessed to loose weight

Sophomore obsession # 007
I need to loose weight!
The obese , the thin , the fat and the normal, irrespective of the sizes everybody is in the fad to look slim...

One question that I am commonly receiving from the very first day is: Please suggest me a diet plan. Actually, there is no one common diet plan for everyone. In fact Diet plan is subjective to everyone and it is made as per individual’s activity level, metabolic rate, family’s eating pattern, geographical location, taste preferences and various other factors. However, technically I can explain you few factors with the help of which you can yourself plan an effective diet plan for weight management.

Fruits ...

Fruits are definitely a priceless gift of nature to mankind. With the wide variety of fruits available in different flavors , we all can make a choice depending on individual taste, but whatever you choose will surely give you benefits which no other food item on this earth can give you.

Please note that am not an expert in diets and those who feel that you should start a diet program after consulting a doctor may please go ahead and try it after clearing your doubts with a professional.

PLUS POINTS ...

  • Easy and simple way to give the body a rest from the harsh richness of modern twenty-first century eating habits.

    • high in content in a wide variety of vitamins, minerals and natural alkaline acids, all of which help boost the body’s many complex systems.

      • helpful in aiding the body to eliminate toxins and help to clean out excess mucous, relieving many cold and catarrhal symptoms

        • help to alleviate many more serious lung and respiratory problems.

          • Allow the digestive system to relax from their normal work overload and are generally mildly laxative in effect, thus enabling the bowels to eliminate better.

            •  Fruit Diets can often reduce symptoms in some more serious conditions, and are well worth trying

              . In short

              DETOXIFICATION, CLEANSING & WEIGHT LOSS.

Step by step Fruit Diet Plan:

  • Be mentally prepared for the diet, once you start off, and is able to successfully take it through 3 days, you can easily extend the period to 7 days or even more.
  • Decide for how long you are planning to be on a fruit diet and stick on to the schedule without any compromise. If you are planning to take a 7 day diet try to do the same every month which can give you tremendous long lasting benefits.
  • Choose good fruits – Remember, your fruit diet will only be as good as the fruit you’re eating, not just in nutrition but also in eating pleasure. Spend a little more on good quality fruit, even if you have to search for a different store that specializes in top-quality produce.
  • Try to eat what’s in season.
  • Fruits high in vitamin C and citric acid are powerful detoxifiers .

    Eat these ...

    • Papaya – A rich source of Minerals and Fiber : Papaya has high nutritional benefits. It is rich in Anti-oxidants, Minerals and Fiber.
    • Apples – Rich in vitamins and help to reduce risks of colon cancer, prostrate cancer and lung cancer.
    • Mango: Mangoes are very popular and widely available fruits. It is rich in potassium and is a known antioxidant.
    • Bananas: Rich in Vitamins and Potassium, no other fruit contain more digestible carbohydrates than bananas hence are an excellent source of energy.
    • Oranges- Excellent source of Vitamin C, aids in digestion and is a very good cleansing/detoxifying agent.
    • Pineapple: Good source of Vitamins and calcium, a powerful detoxifying agent.

  • Some Tips for Fruit Diet

  • For the first three days, eat as much fruit as you desire. Eating as much as you want will help curb the temptation to quit, which is strongest in the beginning, due to dealing with cravings and hunger.
  • As a norm, begin your day with a large portion of higher-calorie fruit like bananas, grapes or mangoes.  This will elevate your metabolism for the whole day, sustaining good energy and fat-burning capabilities. On more active days, eat a greater amount of fruit.  If you have a day of leisure, then cut back.
  • I was on a 5 days fruit diet this month and I chose the following fruits, remember this is just an example and you have full liberty to choose whatever you like and are easily available at your place, of course in comfortable serving sizes.
  •   COMPLICATIONS

Due to the cleansing effect of fruit and the subsequent release of toxins, your tongue will become coated, your breath foul, and you may experience times of weakness or diarrhea.
Also extended periods of fruit diet is not advisable since over time there will be a loss of muscle strength.
Even more important is the loss of nutrients offered from a wide spectrum of foods, like fish, whole grains and vegetable foods, to mention only a few.
Fruit diet is lower in calories than juice fasting, hence resulting in a deeper detoxification.
Also, unlike juice or water fasting, the digestive system does not shut down. This means there is no drop in metabolism as is the case with fasting, where the body is forced into a low-metabolism state to conserve energy resources.
An uncompromised metabolism plus a lower calorie intake equals detoxification and safe weight loss. A fruit diet is carried out for a limited period of time to allow the body to detoxify and cleanse while flooding every cell with a clean source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and the end results are glowing skin, toxin free body, high energy levels and many more.

Sophomore = SUFFERmore?

I initially thought the thing is too early to be posted on our blog. But this equation kept nailing mercilessly at my freaky head and yes, my head couldn’t stop rambling over this.

Now before diving my head first into resolving this DEBATE, I would like my lovely readers to leave their consent what they think about this. How true the notion sophomore equates suffermore?

Does the equation balance?

Or is it that I'm over-rating this?

When this thing occurred to me, I thought suffering not just academics alone but also in regards to hormonal pump up plus the sophomore blues!

Dont you get pounded with lots of homework?  Dont the Practical tests suck?

While some sophomores combat single-handedly with the emotions, apprehensions and tensions at various levels such as at college, home and social out-dos. I think its fair enough to group it with sufferings.

With regards to hormonal gears ups, I tell you, the sophomores belonging to the fag end of their teens as well as post teens are over-anxious, O.A (over action) doers, who rather indulge themselves in show off business and later suffer from morose and low feelings just because they over-did something in front of all. I link all these with hormonal gear ups, as I myself is a pschycology-science gunner!

Now when it comes to the so over-rated sophomore blues, I think you must be very familiar with this suffering. If you aren't, here's my description for this. Sophomore blues is that depressing moment when you’re back home and you’ve got nothing to do. I'm sure, you agree this at one hear!

You think you suffer less when you go to second year? If you think so you are wrong! I'm going to top up my post with only sufferings, just to support my ramble and writing! Defend me? I bet you hardly can! Because I being just-stepped-into-sophomore-year have had to bear these bearings! Its just a sequel to my confessions as a sophomore.

Till next time!

# 1 :17years and still stalking

In today's day and age, it's not unusual to joke around on Facebook about stalking a paramour, and for the most part, casual cyber-stalking is a harmless pursuit. However, there is a line, and certain individuals who may be mentally unbalanced can become fixated on others, often sensing a connection between themselves and the object of their affection which does not actually exist.

Ludeen and Moul

One day in 1994, Tracy Lundeen opened her heart to a socially awkward loner while attending middle school in Renton, Wash. Little did she know her act of kindness would set in motion a nearly two-decade-long campaign of fear and harassment that has changed her life forever.

Lundeen was just 13 when she offered to help schoolmate Shawn Moul after seeing him struggle with his class work in the McKnight Middle School library. Moul began following Lundeen around as they moved onto high school — a problem that became so pronounced he was expelled for stalking her.

But that was only the beginning. Over the years, Moul harassed Lundeen and her family members through repeated phone calls and more than 100 letters.  Even an eight-year prison sentence beginning in 2001 failed to end Moul's obsession with Lundeen — he found ways to get letters to her from his cell, and six months after his 2009 release, he was at it again.

Today Moul is locked away again; on Jan. 24, he was sentenced to a 26 1/2-year prison term that prosecutors called the longest stalking sentence in memory. But is still does little to give Lundeen piece of mind.

"Unfortunately, I don't think it's over," Lundeen, now 32, told Matt Lauer live on TODAY Tuesday. "He won't stop."

Decades-long ordeal Lundeen's case has shined a new light on the U.S. stalking laws, which permit a near-stranger to continue a course of harassment and threats despite a family taking every step the law allows to thwart it. Even now, with Moul serving a long prison sentence, Lundeen's mother told NBC News: "It's not realistically going to be over until one of them passes away."

Over the years, Lundeen has consistently tried to keep Moul from contacting her: She keeps her home address secret, has her mail delivered to a post office box, and has tight privacy controls on her Internet presence.

Public Speaking

Hello readers...
This time its more actually the entire blog is expressed in the photographic format. Hope you guys like it !~ Your opinions keep us going!

When is the best time to start learning to speak publicly?
  •  The answer of waiting until you are an adult is wrongStarting from a young age is the best time to start.  At a young age children’s brains are like a sponge.  They are ready to assimilate information faster than at any other age.

  • At this period of time we are either enthusiastic or apparently apprehensive with the thought of public speaking...

Scroll down to see what the pictures have got to speak ...

But if you are used to such stuff by the end of your graduation, the outcome might be like the following :

the final outcome may be either of the two ...

Bloopers as a sofomore

Youth are the future of the nation . Sometimes bloopers too come out to be sarcastically true. Blooper is an embarassing  mistake done in public.
Its said that nothing can be erased once its on the web as the Internet memory is infinite.

But following are some bloopers committed by college students.its truly astonishing what weird science our scholars can make under the pressure of time and grade.
Mistakes are bound to happen! But some just leave you laughing out loud!
Keep reading! This is surely gonna make a curve on your face!

"Before giving a blood transfusion, find out if the blood is affirmative or negative."

"To remove dust from the eye, pull the eye down over the nose."

"For a nosebleed: Put the nose much lower then the body until the heart stops."

"For drowning: Climb on top of the person and move up and down to make artificial perspiration."

"For fainting: Rub the person's chest or, if a lady, rub her arm above the hand instead. Or put the head between the knees of the nearest medical doctor."

"For dog bite: put the dog away for several days. If he has not recovered, then kill it."

"For asphyxiation: Apply artificial respiration until the patient is dead."

"For head cold: use an agonizer to spray the nose until it drops in your throat."

"To keep milk from turning sour: Keep it in the cow."

Foreign Translations That Did NOT Work!
Coors put its slogan, "Turn it loose," into Spanish, where it was read as "Suffer from diarrhea"

Clairol introduced the "Mist Stick", a curling iron, into Germany only to find out that "mist" is slang for manure. Not too many people had use for the "manure stick".

Scandinavian vacuum manufacturer Electrolux used the following in an American campaign: Nothing sucks like an Electrolux.

In Chinese, the Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan "finger-lickin' good" came out as "eat your fingers off".

Now lets see the world

Queen Victoria was the longest queen. She sat on a thorn for 63 years. Her reclining years and finally the end of her life were exemplatory of a great personality. Her death was the final event which ended her reign.

Bach was the most famous composer in the world, and so was Handel. Handel was half German, half Italian, and half English. He was very large. Bach died from 1750 to the present.

The nineteenth century was a time of many great inventions and thoughts. The invention of the steamboat caused a network of rivers to spring up.

Louis Pastuer discovered a cure for rabbis

Charles Darwin was a naturalist who wrote the "Organ of the Species".

Madman Curie discovered radium.

And Karl Marx became one of the Marx Brothers.

The First World War, caused by the assignation of the Arch-Duck by a surf, ushered in a new error in the anals of human history.

Lincoln's mother died in infancy, and he was born in a log cabin which he built with his own hands.
When Lincoln was President, he wore only a tall silk hat. He said, "In onion there is strength."

George Washington married Matha Curtis and in due time became the Father of Our Country. Them the Constitution of the United States was adopted to secure domestic hostility. Under the Constitution the people enjoyed the right to keep bare arms.

Chronicles of T-student relation

Hold on people!

This is not a regular post about the age old saga on mannerisms. It's how it shapes up . The way things get moulded up in undergraduate life.
The teacher student relationship is a tenuous thing , shifting in important ways as one moves from high school to undergraduate college to a post graduate program.

IN SCHOOL

A teacher often a distant and serious , sometimes , a nurturing and indulgent figure . The student is just a child , and the teacher's expectations of him/ her are limited  to good behavior and attention to studies. There are usually well recognized lines of acceptable and unacceptable behavior and crossing these has very clear consequences -you would be
Told in class or hauled up to the principals office .

IN COLLEGE

A lot of our frameworks change. Apart from college rule book ( most often disregarded) , there are few explicit guidelines governing the relationship .some colleges treat teenagers as adults who know their limitations. But the truth is that we struggle with the fuzzy lines and negotiate with them on daily basis . To complicate things college lecturers may be closer to students in age and are likely to be part of the same generational culture . Some treat students as friends outside the classroom and maintain certain informality even inside it . The boundaries keep blurring with progressive addition of qualification.

Seniors:
Students usually model their interactions on their seniors' with the college grapevine serving to provide do s n don't s in relation to each teacher.generally lecturers expect some evidence of interest ,efforts, regular work and of course respect and attention.

Communication:
Rules of engagement vary widely across faculty members and you have to relearn the relation boundaries with each one.
Kind categories:  some prefer to keep all their interactions in formal places - inside class or college and through formal means such a as written notes , scheduled meetings and properly written emails ( NO SMS lingo !
Cool categories:Some may not mind informal mails and SMS asking about reading and assignment .
Reserved categories: some may provide emails and contact no.s with course outlines and be specific in how they should be contacted, but often these things are not explicitly treated.
You cannot make assumptions about this and try to get a sense of what is acceptable to different lecturers . It's better to check at the beginning of the course the sensitivity of lecturers and students .

P.S. if you want an honest note of appreciation from a lecturer , you'd better have done something in his or her class to earn it! At least make sure that you have not done anything to create a poor impression.
So , if you find it interesting click the +1 or like button ... Otherwise all your criticisms and compliments are welcome in the comment box .

Stalking Stories ($.$.)

$.$. = stalking stories . This is how I am going to abbreviate them .

Stalking? What's it by the way?

The act of following prey stealthily or waiting in ambush (hide) .
Place : Predominantly FACEBOOK ! Twitter , Lanes , College etc

Who does this anyway?

To be honest , everybody stalks anybody they find different at some point of life.

I need not say this but lemme get more slapstick with this regard. Ahem ahem .. Firstly your exs , parents followed by your relations , in power with them are your not so well wishers , then are the gossiping jobless characters , then? Fans? Yes ... Everybody has got admirers :p in most of the cases they don't reveal it though may be because of the ego they have. Last but not the least are random peek a boo characters .

How do I know this ?

I don't know about guys but girls... Mwahahahah!  have a very badly good quality of sharing their experiences . So that stories make the crux of the blog. Though these are not 100% authentic . But fiction and fact combination is lethal I tell you.

The things written above were for online stalking and for stalking the person , look into the picture below : Tips I'd say... THE STALKING ESSENTIALS !

Till I am done with story number 1 , Buh Bye :D

My Confessions as a Sophomore! ;)

Hey folks! ;)

Late last night when I recieved proposal for being a co-writer for this blog, from Maria, my mind kept rambling on nothing but towards the amazing blog idea and a lot of anticipations like in what creative ways I shall have to give a lead to this blog!

Basically my take on the idea of this blog is HIS GROWTH, CHANGES, UPS & DOWNS as a sophomore. The changes a sophomore is exposed to, juxtaposed with his celluloid journey with his colleagues and what heights he manages to reach.

Did you know?
In greek 'sophos' means wise and more means fool!? So its just literally a ‘wise fool’:D (okay, no offence meant :P) Its just the rear side of that meaning you gonna find when you gotta read my stuff out further and more! *ROLLS EYES*

And lemme tell ya ..I myself is swaying in and around FUN-tastic sophomore year of my professional studies! :D

As a sophomore, I went through a slew of emotions and confusions at my head first into second undergraduate year.

IN HIGH SPIRITS:
I was one of those preppy girls who indulge in freaking out every grades they get. Showing off like we have successfully survived crappy (studious in my regard) year of being a fresher. I belonged to these sort of girls. While others being just immature.

DISLIKE FOR FRESHERS!
According to my research, 7 out of 10  hate freshers even though few months ago they were a fresher. And its no secret that even I belonged to those 7!
For me it would be like..
Fresher: hey! May I know you? I being a  fresher.
Sophomore: YAY! I’m a sophomore. *raising collars*. Get out of my way you freaky fresher!

MAJESTIC FEELING:
I thought I probably am the coolest because am no more a fresher. A sense of superiority over-shadowed me. And we sophomores are the ones who are constantly into buying that idea of picking up freshers and HAVE ENOUGH TIME  bully them hard! :D
I did join the sophomore troup ragging them, in the name of so clitched intro-intro play!
Roaming the halls and absolutely doing nothing..showing off our sophomore badges was no exception!

SENSE OF MATURITY AND EXPERIENCING A CHANGE:
Like most other sophomores I have matured a bit since fresh year. Many of ‘em generally for good. Others still act retards! Some sophomores can actually get along fresh year freaks. While others backed off their nose from blending among ‘em, showing as its not their business!

Sophomores I feel are in an easy ride, but you get pounded with lots of home work and classes are gritty. You end up finding sophomores high on anorexia, clumsiness, induldging on burgers and doughnuts and see them turning up bunkards! :D

With lots of hope for the ongoing sophomore year,
Till next time!

Stalking stories

To be posted soon ;)

Facebook era

Hello people :D

The title says enough about the things I am going to jot down here. Like the gossip or film fare magazines you tend to read on to search for more spicy stuff .

Beware facebook haters , before you go further let me inform well in advance that this is not meant for facebook haters ! I , being FB addict can't afford to type even a phrase against FB !

Emotions apart ! The other day there was a fest going on in my college , the co-ordinator notified that the cricket match was postponed to the next day.Addicts like me passed the news on and then everybody left home early either to party or to rest ? Moral ? FB saved time , resources and energy :D

A fortnight ago , one of my friends bunked college went for a movie and updated her status and location as well . One of her frenemy hit the hammer on the metal and moulded the situation in such a way that the poor girl had to tolerate the nagging from her family and the faculty for about a week . Moral ? Fun requires wisdom.
hAve a nIce wEekend ^_^
